What is Cubion?
Cubion is a third-party Minecraft launcher for Java Edition that uses the official Microsoft / Mojang login. It's designed for players who own a legitimate copy of Minecraft and want an easier way to play with mods and modpacks.
With Cubion you get: one-click modpacks and mods from CurseForge and Modrinth; secure, official-only login; smart crash recovery; and Cubion AI recommendations.
Is Cubion free?
Yes. Cubion is free to download and use, and the launcher is ad-free. Development is funded via non-intrusive means, not by selling your data.
Which operating systems does Cubion support?
Cubion supports Windows 10+, macOS 10.15+ and Linux (AppImage). The experience is kept as similar as possible across platforms.
Do I need to own Minecraft to use Cubion?
Yes. Cubion is designed for players who own an official copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and does not support cracked or offline accounts.
Is Cubion safe to use?
Cubion uses the official Microsoft / Mojang sign-in flow and never asks you for your password directly. We do not support cracked accounts, which keeps your account safer and aligned with Mojang / Microsoft policies.
